Kanye West – The Life Of Pablo (T.L.O.P.)
It took Kanye West over two years to complete his seventh studio album, but it looks like that was not enough time for him to pick the proper title for it as he renamed it multiple times in the last several months.
Originally dubbed So Help Me God, it was later known as SWISH and then WAVES, before Ye announced the final title is The Life Of Pablo, most probably a reference to the great Spanish painter Pablo Picasso or the infamous Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar.
Even though everybody from the Kardashian-Jenner Klan to legends such as Q-Tip, Andre 3000 and Mos Def a.k.a. Yasiin Bey were spotted in the studio with Yeezy during the recording sessions, those who made it to the final cut include Kid Cudi, Chance The Rapper, Frank Ocean, Rihanna, The-Dream, Kendrick Lamar, Ty Dolla Sign, Post Malone, and more. The production is handled by West himself, Madlib, Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, Cashmere Cat and Sinjin Hawke, among others.
The release of the full-length record coincided with the premiere of West’s third Adidas collection Yeezy Season 3.
